If you could go back in time and give your younger self advice, what would it be?
If I could go back and speak to my younger self, I’d tell her this:
You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You are allowed to change, to outgrow old versions of yourself, and to become someone you couldn’t yet imagine.
Nature has never been afraid of change. It sheds, transforms, adapts and begins again.
Perhaps we could learn something from that.
My art explores the relationship between people and nature, using botanical forms, colour and layers to express the complexity of both.
Because sometimes, what surrounds us reflects something happening within us.
